“The Montana High Tech Business Alliance on Thursday released a list of eight “Montana High-Growth Companies to Watch” in 2019, and Bozeman is home to five of them.
Alosant, Figure, MyVillage, Vision Aerial and XY Planning Network/AdvicePay are all companies based in or have a location in Bozeman. They had to meet a number of criteria to receive the recognition from the Alliance, like having a plan to add more jobs, ready to launch “high-potential” products, or having recently landed a big client.
Christina Henderson, executive director of the Alliance, said in a news release these companies have announced plans that will help Montana’s tech and manufacturing industries grow.
“Montana’s 2019 high-growth companies are transforming a wide variety of sectors from health care, childcare and financial services to construction and drones,” Henderson said.
Henderson said the founders of the companies on the list bring experience from global markets, but have chosen Montana as their home.
Montana High Tech Alliance profiled all eight of the businesses.
Alosant is an app geared toward prospective homebuyers and homeowners. It uses “augmented reality” to show what a neighborhood or development will look like in the future.
Figure is also for homebuyers and homeowners. It provides home equity lines of credit and home lease-back services for customers in 38 states.
MyVillage is a platform that helps parents find childcare programs, provides tools for people to open their own childcare business, and creates a space for childcare providers to share resources.
Vision Aerial is a manufacturer of commercial drones and works with companies like Northwestern Energy. It helps clients learn how to use the technology to reduce energy costs.
XY Planning Network/Advice Pay are two platforms that work together. XY Planning Network provides financial planning services and Advice Pay is a platform financial planners use to get payment. They have nearly 1,000 customers in 49 states.
The other companies recognized by the Alliance were Alter Enterprise, DataSmart Health Solutions and Superior Traffic Services. All three are located in Missoula.”
