User Requests
What are User Requests?
User requests can be thought of as an individual reaching out to gather more information from you and your team.
Alosant created these to be an action for your team to capture the individual’s information. User requests are common in the app through Workflow Smart Buttons.
To respond to these requests, see Respond to a User Request.
To close these requests, see Close a User Request.
Respond to a User Request
To respond to a User Request, please follow the steps below:
1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select User Requests.
2. Click Open or Closed next to the User Request requiring response.
3. Scroll to the Request History section.
4. Type your response in the Respond field.
5. Click Send.
Close a User Request
To close a User Request, please follow the steps below:
1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select User Requests.
2. Find the applicable User Request, click Open.
3. Click Close w/o Notification.
IMPORTANT
If a user request remains open, this will override the announcement shown to applicable users.
Export User Requests
To export User Requests, please follow the steps below:
1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select User Requests.
2. Click Export to CSV.
3. Open the downloaded CSV file to view the exported user request list.
Export Live Updates for User Requests
To enable Live Updates for User Requests, please follow the steps below:
1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select User Requests.
2. Check Enable Live Updates.
3. When enabled and a new User Request is received, a dialog is shown to the applicable administrator if the User Requests list page is open in their browser.
Delete a User Request
To delete a User Request, please follow the steps below:
1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select User Requests.
2. Find the User Request you wish to delete.
3. Click the trash icon or Open the request, then click x Delete.
