Manage Events

Set Dates on a Recurring Event

To set individual dates on a recurring event, please follow the steps below:

1. Create your Recurring Regular event. See Create a New Event for details.

2. Edit your event, create one or more Occurrences.

a. Click the calendar icon to select a date from the calendar. Put each date on its own occurrences row.

b. Adjust the numbers and AM/PM selections up or down until the correct time is shown.

c. Enter a number in the Max field. This specifies the maximum occupancy for the occurrence.

d. Enter a number in the At Once field. This specifies the number of spaces each user is allowed to reserve when booking their reservation for that occurrence.

e. Add an optional Note.

3. Click + Add Row to enter additional occurrences as needed.

4. Click Save.

IMPORTANT

Recurring events should not be added to the Home feed. Do not set a Trigger on any recurring event.

Event Not Visible in the App

If the event you have created is not appearing in the app, please follow the steps below:

1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Events & Timeslots.

2. Select the desired event.

3. Configure at least one of the following:

a. One or more Custom Menus are selected in the event. This adds the event to the applicable menu in the app.

b. One or more Triggers are selected in the event. This adds the event to the Home feed of the app.

4. Save your changes.

IMPORTANT

Recurring events should not be added to the Home feed. Do not set a Trigger on any recurring event.

Delete an Event

To delete an event, please follow the steps below:

1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Events & Timeslots.

2. Select the desired event.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the event page, then click x Delete. This event has now been completely removed from the admin and the app.

Copy an Event

To copy an Event, please follow the steps below:

1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Events & Timeslots.

2. Select the desired event.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the event page, then click Copy.

4. A new event has been created and is a duplicate of the original event.

5. Adjust the Name to remove Copy from the title.

6. Adjust the Date, Open Time Local, Close Time Local as needed to reflect the new schedule.

7. Optionally, adjust other details.

8. Click Save.

Cancel an Event

To cancel an Event, please follow the steps below:

1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Events & Timeslots.

2. Select the desired event.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the event page, then click Cancel.

4. Select your preferred cancel option:

a. Cancel and send a push notification to all users who have viewed the event at least once.

b. Cancel and send a push notification to all users in the database.

5. After selecting the desired cancel option, click Cancel.

NOTE

Cancelled events still appear in the app for users, but indicate Cancelled.

Boost an Event

Enable Boost Event for any event. This promotes the event to all users within the app by adding it to the app Home feed.
