Guest Web Experience

What is the Guest Experience?

The Guest Experience provides non-account holders a peek into the app content and what they may experience upon sign in. Often, the Guest Experience provides prospective users with information on the community or area served by the app. Residents that do not yet have app access can typically request access from the Guest Experience. Guests may also create an account if they choose to follow any Marketplace page.

The Guest Experience is accessible from the app launch screen. To access the Guest Experience in the app, tap Visit as a Guest. Once in the Guest Experience, residents can request access to the app by tapping the Request Resident Access button. Optionally, guests can tap Sign Up to Follow on a Marketplace page to create an account and be logged in immediately.

To exit the Guest Experience in the app, navigate to the app menu and tap Logout.

Modify the Guest Experience (Events, Pages)

To add events or pages to the Home feed of the guest view, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Guest Experience.
  2. To add or pin a page to the guest view, scroll down to Parks & Amenities, select the checkbox next to the page, then click Save.
  3. To add an event to the guest view, select the checkbox next to the event, then click Save.

NOTE

Once an event has passed, it will remain on the Home feed of the guest view until you edit the Guest Experience and uncheck the checkbox for that event.

Modify the Guest Experience Menu

To manage menu availability in the Guest Experience, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Guest Experience.
  2. To hide a menu from the Guest Experience, select the checkbox next to the menu name.
  3. To show a menu from the Guest Experience, deselect the checkbox next to the menu name.
  4. Click Save.

NOTE

Showing a menu on the guest view will include all pages or events associated with that menu.

Set a Profile Picture for the Guest Experience

To set a profile photo for the Guest Experience, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Guest Experience.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of this page, then click Choose File.
  3. Select the correct file, then click Upload Picture.

Access the App Web Version

To access the app web version, please use one of the options listed below:

  1. Type your app’s URL into a browser. This URL was decided during the onboarding process.
  2. In the Admin, click app next to your email from the top right corner of the page.
