Custom Menus

What are Custom Menus?

A menu is a way to organize your pages and events in the app. Custom Menus are menu items that hold information such as Events or Pages.

Custom Menus appear in the mobile app and are available from the menu icon.

Create a Custom Menu

To create a new Custom Menu, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select Custom Menus.
  2. Click +New Menu.
  3. Enter a menu Name, then specify the Item Type (Event or P&A/Club).
  4. Click Save.  

NOTE

By default, a new Custom Menu is visible to all users. See Hide or Show a Custom Menu.

To edit the menu order, see Edit Menu Order.

Hide or Show a Custom Menu

To hide or show a Custom Menu for specific User Roles, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin sidebar, find and select User Roles.
  2. Find and select the desired Role.
  3. To hide a menu, select the checkbox next to the menu name.
  4. To show a menu, deselect the checkbox next to the menu name.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Repeat as needed for each user role.

Edit Menu Order

To edit the order of menu items in the mobile app, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin sidebar menu, find and select Custom Menus.
  2. Click Edit Menu Order.
  3. Drag and drop the menu items to display in the desired order.
  4. Click Save.

Delete a Custom Menu

To delete a Custom Menu, please follow the steps below:

  1. In the Admin sidebar menu, find and select Custom Menus.
  2. Find and select the menu you would like to delete.
  3. Click x Delete.
  4. Click OK when asked to confirm.

NOTE

Deleting a custom menu will not delete all of the content associated with this menu. Upon deleting the associated menu, the pages/events will not display in the app unless assigned another Custom Menu.

Standard menus such as Home, Settings, and Neighbors cannot be deleted.
