Age Restricted Events

In this Alosantâ„¢ Product Highlight, we look at the features utilized for an Age Restricted Event.

An Age Restricted Event requires residents reserving for an event to meet a certain age minimum and maximum. Events like 21+ wine Wednesday at the Clubhouse, a 12 and under swimming lesson at the pool, or 55+ dance night can be managed efficiently with Age Restricted Event features.

Scenario: Host a community concert for residents 18 years and older.

Minimum/Maximum Age Restriction

Regulate the age of attendees for an event.

  • How You Set it Up: Create a Family Event and turn on reservations. Move the slider under the age range to define the Minimum/Maximum Age Restriction of your event.
  • How it Works: Resident reserves a family event and adds applicable family members to the reservation. A reservation that violates the age requirement is canceled and sent an automatic Cancellation Email Notification.

Scenario: Notify a resident their reservation is canceled.

Cancellation Email Notification

Send an automated event Cancellation Email Notification to a resident that violates a Family Event age restriction.

  • How You Set it Up: Create a reservable Family Event. Click on your email in the upper right-hand corner of the Alosant ResX Admin to find mail templates. Create a standard email a resident with a canceled reservation receives within the reservation canceled mail template.
  • How it Works: A reservation that violates the age requirement receives an automatic Cancellation Email Notification.
